HALTON FOOD FOR THOUGHT'S BREAKFAST GALA - MAY 6TH!
As you may be aware our school offers a nutrition program in partnership with Halton Food For Thought (HFFT). We are fortunate to receive funding from HFFT each year. Please remember the nutrition program at our school is open to all students. It is an essential part of the day for some students but also beneficial for all students to have access to healthy food at school. As such I wanted to share information about their upcoming breakfast gala. If you are able to attend and show your support that would be great. Tickets are $50 each or a table of 10 for $450.
Halton Food For Thought 7th annual Breakfast Gala
Friday, May 6, 2016 7:30am-9:30am
Oakville Conference Centre
Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for fabulous raffle prizes including 2 Air Canada tickets to any scheduled destination in North America as well as bid on exciting silent auction items. There will be a marketplace of breakfast food provided by a variety of local restaurants, a guest speaker and stories of inspiration from volunteers and students. The Spring Breakfast Gala raises the much needed funds that help our programs stay strong and sustainable each year. Our goal is to raise over $50,000 at the gala this year. The cost to feed a student breakfast is a $1 a day. This money will help feed a lot of empty tummies!
Below is the link to purchase tickets as well as a few highlights you can expect to see at the Gala
