| Graduation Mass and Luncheon | |
Wednesday June 5th is the Graduation Mass and Luncheon which will take place at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church located at 300 River Oaks Blvd East here in Oakville. You are not required to attend classes on this day. However, you must arrive at the church at 10:30am. You need to be dressed in appropriate semi-formal attire. You will need to arrange your own transportation to and from St. Joseph’s where the mass and luncheon are being held. Mass will take place first followed immediately by the luncheon.

| Graduation Rehearsal | |
Monday, June 10th is the Graduation Rehearsal. This will take place in the gym during Period 4 and you are not required to go to class as attendance will be taken during the rehearsal. Attendance is mandatory for all graduating students. Important information related to graduation activities will be discussed during the rehearsal. |

| Graduation Ceremony Tickets | |
As stated in the Grad Package, each graduating student will be given 2 tickets to the grad ceremony held in the gymnasium of Holy Trinity on Thursday, June 26th. These tickets will be distributed, along with the gowns, during the final exams. If a student would like additional tickets, it is their responsibility to put their name on the "First-Come/First-Serve" list which will be posted in the Guidance Office on Tuesday, June 11th. ALL additional tickets are for the "Live-Feed" in the Theatre, they are NOT for the Gymnasium. |

Halton Catholic Charity Golf Classic & a Chance to Win a mini iPad!
The 2nd Annual Halton Catholic Charity Golf Classic, in support of the Halton Catholic Children’s Education Foundation, will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at the Hidden Lake Golf and Country Club, Burlington. Last year’s tournament raised $9000.00 to help enhance the educational experience and enrich the lives of our students.

Entry Fee including cart, golf, lunch, dinner and prizes is $175.00 or you are welcome to attend the Dinner only ($50.00).

| Allerject Epineprine Auto Injectors | |
Dear Parents: Re: Update to Allerject Epineprine Auto Injectors at HCDSB School Sites
Allerject is a new epinephrine auto injector, recently developed and available for parents/guardians to select for the emergency treatment of their child’s anaphylaxis. Allerject’s, new option, the automated voice instruction guides patients and caregivers step by step through the injection process in the event of an emergency. With thanks to Elizabeth Monk from Sanofi who manufactures the Allerject Auto Injectors the Halton Catholic District School Board has recently received Allerject trainers to train school staff and occasional teachers. Information, instruction and training on the Allerject trainers will be completed by the end of June 2013.
We are pleased to inform you that your choice of the Allerject auto injector, if you so choose, is welcome at your school site beginning on the first day of school in September 2013.

Choice of auto injectors for HCDSB Schools (September 2013) - only the Epi Pen or Allerject
The HCDSB policy with epinephrine auto injectors follows best practices from Anaphylaxis Canada in the number and location of the epinephrine auto injectors: • The student is to have two (2) epinephrine auto injectors at school. • 1 the student carrys on their person with the exception of junior and senior kindergarten students where teachers have immediate access to the auto injector in their classroom • 2nd one is stored in a secure location readily accessible if student has a reaction where the first auto injector is used.
Parent/guardians are responsible to provide and keep track of the expiry date of their child’s auto injector and provide two (2) auto injectors that are up to date. Epi Pen/Allerject should be in a protective container labeled with the child’s name. .....................................................................................................................................................
