At Holy Family School, we believe that every child is made in the ‘Image of God’ and we treat all of our students accordingly. Holy Family is a wonderful school community where the gospel values of Jesus Christ are present on a daily basis and can be observed in all of our interactions and relationships.
We believe in the importance of Respect:
Respect for God,
Respect for Self,
Respect for Others, and
Respect for the Environment.
One way that we foster this respect is by recognizing, on a daily basis, acts of kindness and respect through acknowledging their positive behaviour. In addition, every month, select student from each class are recognized for their demonstration of the Catholic Graduate Expectations and awarded a ‘Virtue Award’. Monthly, during our morning announcements, we honour the students who display these virtues and award a certificate to them.
We are blessed to have a wonderful group of educators at our school. To a person, every teacher and person who plays the role of support staff holds themselves and our students to the highest standards. The educators at Holy Family are compassionate, diligent, caring and knowledgeable. They are willing to take chances and truly have the best interests of our students at heart. They are incredibly dedicated in their roles as guardians of our future.
Essential to our success at Holy Family School is our partnership with the parents of our students. Our parents help with reading programs, environmental issues, intramurals, and various other extracurricular activities. The parents at our school help set and achieve the goals that we have collectively set forth for our students. Parental involvement at Holy Family School is instrumental to student success.
